Red Bean Pancake

These deliciously sweet Asian pancakes can now be easily prepared in the convenience of your home with Spring Home Spring Roll Pastry!

Ingredients List

  • Spring Home’ Spring Roll Pastry with Egg – 10 inch(thawed)*
  • Red Bean Paste
  • Honey
  • Toasted Sesame Seeds

 

Preparation

  1. Spread a spoonful of red bean paste evenly in the middle of a pastry sheet. 
  2. Fold in four sides from the edges of the pastry sheet. 
  3. In a cooking pan, pan-fry both sides over medium heat till it turns golden brown.
  4. Remove from pan and lightly brush one side with a layer of honey.
  5. Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds generously on the side that has been brushed with honey.
  6. Cut the pancake into desired number of pieces.
  7. Serve and enjoy.


*Tip: Covering thawed pastry with a clean damp cloth helps to retain moisture in pastry.
